All paths lead to home, and we arrive at our house almost daily. On that journey to our universal destination, we are granted a special opportunity to calm the day and clarify our thoughts. My journey like that meaningful moment is how I best describe my arrival at “HAUS by Everton.”
It began as the world slowed to a halt at the start of the COVID -19 pandemic, and our experience at home became our lives. Confined to those four walls, I became intimate with how much comfort matters. Facing the reality of looking at my feet and standing on knees that had endured years of athletic competition, it was clear that surviving the pandemic in comfort was going to required the appropriate footwear: slippers.
I soon found much difficulty finding anything that met my requirements. There was simply no slipper that combined the style and quality of premium streetwear, was comfortable, and met my ethical expectations for any luxury brand. Upon discovering this I quickly understood if I needed it, I would have to create it.
I applied my 25 years of experience within the fashion industry and started a research and development process to bring my vision to reality. After two years of prototyping, I am proud to deliver footwear that can live up to the standards I uphold and a product that meets my bold obsession to merge style, comfort, durability, and sustainability.
